But when we ask how many sign-ups they’re getting, almost every one of them will say they either haven’t signed anybody up yet, or they’ve only signed-up a few family and friends and haven’t gotten any sign-ups past that.

When we dig a little deeper into why people aren’t getting sign-ups into their business, we typically find that they are generating some interest in their products and business online, but no one ever buys or signs up.
And what we find with these people is that the lack of sign-ups into their MLM business is always due to a lack of leads.
If getting sign-ups from your warm market is a numbers game (and it IS), then getting sign-ups from your cold market is an even bigger numbers game.

So how do you put up the big numbers you need in order to start getting regular sign-ups into your business?
One way is to start doing massive amounts of cold market prospecting. While this is one of the most effective Network Marketing strategies, it is incredibly time consuming, you face a lot of rejection, and you need to be hungry, even desperate, for success to make it work – cold market prospecting is definitely NOT for the faint-hearted.

So obviously, the alternative to offline cold market prospecting is taking your business online. But being successful in online Network Marketing strategies involves much more than just posting product pictures and testimonials to your social media pages.

Network Marketing Strategies Tip #1 – Massive Leads Come From A Massive Audience
One big reason people have so little success with their online Network Marketing strategies is that they have a very small audience they are marketing to, and it’s usually just their family and friends.
If you want to get massive amounts of leads for your business, then you need to grow a massive online audience. The harsh reality that many Network Marketers face when they start marketing online is that their audience isn’t going to just come to them, and they aren’t going to attract and grow an audience by posting product pictures and testimonials all day.
One way to grow an audience is with paid advertising – for example, a Facebook “likes” campaign or a Twitter “followers” campaign.
But why pay for that audience when you can grow your own audience for free? Leah Rae and I started from scratch with all of our social media fan pages and were able to gain 1000-4000 targeted followers per month using some very simple and (mostly) free tools – more on that later.
Network Marketing Strategies Tip #2 – Leverage And Automation
One of the Network Marketing strategies used by many online marketers focuses on direct messaging potential prospects to start a conversation, build a relationship, and see if they’re open to a Network Marketing business. This is basically an online version of cold market prospecting, however, it’s much easier to do and the rejection is a lot easier to handle. But it is still very time consuming.
You can spend all day messaging with people only to get a handful of good, quality leads every week, which is great, but as far as online Network Marketing strategies go, it’s very slow and time-consuming.
So you need to find Network Marketing strategies that allow you to leverage and automate your lead generation. How do Leah Rae and I do that? We use some very simple free online tools that allow us automate most of what we do online – again, more on that in just a bit.
Network Marketing Strategies Tip #3 – Make It Easy For People To Become Leads
And the third thing you need to do is make it easy for someone to become a lead for you. This means lowering resistance as much as possible.
And here’s what I mean by that…
Imagine a complete stranger approaching you out of nowhere either online or offline and offer to give you information about a money-making opportunity and then asked for your name, email, and phone number.
What would happen?
Red flags and alarms would probably go up in your mind, the defensive walls would go up, and you’d probably try to find a quick way out of the conversation. Right?
Here’s another scenario…
Imagine you’re visiting a complete stranger’s social media site that’s full of product information and testimonials. It’s a product you’re interested in so you decide to check it out.
You do a Google search for the products and company and find out it’s an MLM. You do some more searching and find a few websites that claim it’s a scam, they claim the products are crappy and overpriced, and they say no one ever makes money with it.
How likely do you think you (or anyone else) would be to contact that person to find out more information?
Here’s the two big reasons why those types of Network Marketing strategies never work…
1) People only buy from and join those that they know, like, and trust
2) People love buying things, but they hate being sold
Both of those scenarios are very common and greatly increase people’s resistance to giving you their contact information. You either don’t have enough trust and rapport built up, or they feel like they’re just going to be sold on something if they contact you.
So you need to look for MLM strategies that allow you to build a lot of rapport and trust with your prospects, something that is highly leveraged and automated, and something that lowers resistance as much as possible.
Network Marketing Strategies – What Does Work
The best Network Marketing strategies allow you to generate massive leads online in a highly leveraged and automated way. These MLM strategies typically take some time and effort to set up, but once that initial setup is done, the leads come in with very little effort.
All together, Leah Rae and I generate several dozens of leads every day, sometimes 100+ leads in a single day (so far, our all time high of 143 in one day).
Out of that, we get anywhere from 1-3 dozen leads every day from a (mostly) free, highly-leveraged and automated lead generation strategy that we lay out in this free training series.
